Lockwright
Your vault stays on the device you unlock.
Lockwright is a password manager. Your vault stays on the device you unlock. Devices you pair sync with each other. There is no cloud account, and we do not keep a copy of your vault.
The Firefox add-on and the Chrome extension fill a saved login on the current tab. The desktop app holds the vault. Pair the browser with the desktop app, or there is nothing to fill.
Mozilla marks the Firefox listing experimental.
The Firefox add-on runs in Firefox for Android. Sync still needs a desktop you pair.
PearPass stopped being actively developed. This is a community fork of that Apache 2.0 code. It is not affiliated with Tether Data or the Pears project, and they have not endorsed it.
- Encrypted local vault for passwords, notes, cards, identities, and passkeys
- Peer-to-peer sync between the devices you pair
- Password generator and health checks
- Works offline once the vault is on the device
If you already have a PearPass vault, copy it, then try opening the copy in Lockwright. Do not test on the only copy.
Secfault Security audited PearPass. That report describes the code as it was when we forked. It is not an audit of Lockwright changes since then.
Source is on GitHub. If you already run PearPass and want a build, use the contact form.
